Merry Christmas World by Chris Huffman Nearly 2,000 years ago Our Lord Jesus was born He walked the earth healing the sick Amidst the world's scorn His birth signaled the emergence Of our one great redeemer His love, kindness and forgiveness Were all part of his gracious demeanor We celebrate the birth of our Savior We do this each and every year We give thanks for that very special day Surrendering to him all our fear He calls to each and every one of us But few will ever listen to him His message of salvation Is for all who will turn to him Yet the world hates our Lord and Savior They run from his saving grace While those of us who have accepted him Will one day be in his Heavenly place Merry Christmas world! |
