My Prayer by Gertrude Jefferies Father, my heart I lift in praise, As I raise my hands in worship. I glorify Your precious name, And all worldly pleasures forfeit. I give to You my every thought, desire and ambition. Please sanctify within, without, As I kneel here in submission. Refiner's Fire, burn deep inside, Take out the dross and purify, Till all that can in me be seen, Is the loveliness of Christ. |
