Heart On Fire by Kathleen Higham So often she is on my mind And God stands close to her Giving is the essence of her life This I know for sure Many times when I falter It's always because of fear A person might be walking away And I wish that she was near And on that rare occasion When determined I step out Wanting to spread God's Word And I pray that she is about For if I manage to bring them Relief will come my way When across the room I see her She always knows what to say She tends to keep it simple Being surrounded by His Light Her gentleness completes her Her smile is God's delight I watch her as she is singing A heart that's filled with praise I never met anyone like her Remembering her Godly ways So often she is on my mind And I pray for her each day For her potential is endless Trusting God come what may And yet I want to see her Fulfill her every desire So often she is on my mind The one with the heart on fire We have all been touched by her And I hope she will know So often she is on my mind I'll miss her when I go |
