Her Light is in Heaven by Judie Pickett © 2007 Her journey is over, Her race is done. She's met her savior At the foot of His throne. Her life an example Of what we should be To follow our Christ His salvation to seek. She taught her children The way they should go, To worship the Lord, And to knock at His door. She lived her life Honoring her Savior By encouraging others, By her own behavior. She was a light to her friends, It showed on their faces. As she praised her God In so many places. She's gone to her Master But we're not left to mourn, For her light now is in heaven, From where she was born. |
