Thunderbolt by mike bullock Struck by a thunderbolt Somethings hit me hard I've reached the edges of my walk Now I am on my guard A buried relic from my past Has been exhumed by You Will I allow You to extract The pain that sticks like glue. I know that You are delicate Your surgery is kind But I am stuck in no mans land The battle's in my mind The devil wants control of me But I only want You The lies that surface put me down Which one of you is true. I'm sure that You will win this war But it is up to me To choose the avenue of fate Oh which one will it be Who sways my battered state of mind And leads me to release From all the torment washing round All I crave is peace. |
