Throiugh a child's eyes by Lori Ludwig © 2007 The wonder of the season is best seen through a child's eyes The gifts, the secrets, a time full of surprise No pain, no sickness, no disease A time for a child, to fully rely On their imagination, the wonder of it all During times like this they can feel ten feet tall To beat the monsters under the bed, and in the closet too Even the ones their little bodies may have to fight Especially in the darkest night through a child's eyes, in this time of year We as adults, could learn not to fear The stresses of life, the day and the night We have to remember to NEVER give up the fight Through a child's eyes, we can find all the love... Like the love that's God's gift from all up above To remind us God will never leave..no matter what we've done When God gave us the greatest gift of all..His Son So love the children, young and old....and you can and will find riches untold. |
