My Faithful Giver by eric capistrano My heart rejoices forever Singing praises to the Father I am a child of the King In me, I'll let His glory ring He gives me ode in my heart That will never ever depart It touches the lives of those who hear Especially to those who always care He gives me smile on my face That other gaze at me with grace And those who are sad and lonely Will be comforted and be happy He gives me songs in the night That I may see the light And 'twill make my face shine And confidently will I say I am fine! He gives me breath faithfully That I may breathe with thanks everyday Every breath that I take gladly Comes from the abundance of His mercy He gives me love more precious than gold That I may warm those who are cold And let my God-given life share To those who are in need of my care He gives me many friends That are true and not after of gains They will defend me from my foe And will encourage me when I am blue He gives me sufficient grace That I may glorify Him and bless He will strengthen my feeble knees That I can do all things for His praise He gives me many weaknesses That I may acknowledge His greatness Whenever I accomplish great thing As I behold Him, I am nothing He gives me everything That I will never be wanting Wherever I go on my life's journey He will never let me tread empty Thus my soul will aye delight in my God He keeps my heart always glad He is the same yesterday and forever He is ever my Faithful Giver |
