Scholar
by mike bullock

You don't have to be a scholar
Own a brain that's rather large
Live inside a great big mansion
Always butter, never marge
You don't have to toil for hours
Read the bible inside out
Always looking rather holy
That's not what it is about.

God, He loves the cheerful giver
One who's humble and contrite
Often failing in their duties
Never seem to get it right
He can use the lowest morsel
Thankfully for you and me
Just relax and let it happen
We are useful, wait and see.
