Onion by mike bullock Just like peeling onions You weep as every layer Is lacerated by the knife That's wielded washed in prayer Accumulation of the things You've gained throughout the years Are blighting all that's pure inside Reducing you to tears. Created as a perfect one You didn't stand a chance The world in which you lived in Led you a merry dance Now you have the chance to leave The pain and grief behind Just let Him peel the the skin away To give you peace of mind. |
