Just Get There by Kathleen Higham There is a defining moment When a loved one dies As tears are openly shed I believe God hears our cries. The question always presents itself Will I ever see them again? Heaven, was it meant for all? Even the most stubborn of men. We have pondered this thought Did the loved one who passed away Actually see the face of God? Is Jesus holding them today? Thinking about faith, then church Does it matter if you even go? What of your loved one's fate? The answer we long to know. So what then is the answer? Thoughts of heaven come to me Just get there my friend It's the only hope I can see. Just get there is the answer For how can one ever know? Where will you share eternity? You must find the way to go. The answer to all your questions Is to pray the sinner's prayer Give your heart to Jesus Christ Then He will take you there. This is the defining moment Your soul longs for His peace When at last you get there All your pain will cease. |
