Meeting Jesus by Robert Hedrick Through the years of your life, there's many people you met, Some were pleasant along with those you would try to forget. Gaining close friends through some you did not know before, Your own spouse, as a stranger knocked on your heart's door. Then some of these wrere very interesting, there's little doubt, Giving you a good idea of just what their life had been about. Learning interesting things from a few of those you have met, Some were valuable while some only brought you deep regret. I believe that God allows these meetings as a part of His plan, So we can understand more about the lives of our fellow man. There is One God has put before us that He wants all to meet, He is The One, The Only One, Who'll make our life complete. Indeed, this is Jesus, Who has paid the ransom for every soul, It is His shed blood that will cleanse our life to make it whole. Meet Him now, waiting til you're before Him will be too late, Lift your heart to Him today, He'll lift you into heaven's gate. |
