TIME FLIES
by BenjaminU Anabaraonye

How time flies!
How it rushes on!
Flying to its end,
Waiting for no one.

Swiftly like a bird
That flies from east to west
But in the arms of eternity
Soon shall it take rest.

Seconds to minutes,
Minutes to hours dear;
Hours to days,days to weeks,
Weeks to months, and then to years.

Time flies and then we die
Letting go of earth's vanity
Meeting face to face
With God and eternity.

So day after day,
Week after week,
Time speaks and says:
The Lord your God seek.

For before His judgement seat
Soon shall you stand
To account for the precious gift
He placed in your hands.
