The Weaker Plunk
by Gabriel Fearing

Take from me this need and desire
Relieve me of things I think I require

In order to live a lot then it'll
Cost my heart to die just a little

While consuming stuff – I am consumed
With presuming how we may be doomed

Possessions possess my individuality
Personal effects infect my personality

I Wonder why I'm oddly guessing
And confusing things for godly blessings

Overwhelmed and owned by what I own
Only loaned the reaped of what I've sown

Culture sold out to the mortal world
It ignored and forgot its moral soul

WE KERPLUNK

We can't fathom the depth of His conception
Our comprehension inept – lacking perception

Matt 6:21
