What God Says About Life
by Deborah Smith Plemmons

They say we're but a mass in our mother's womb;
That's why many babies before birth meet their doom.
God says He covered me before I was born;
In my mother's womb, my head with hair He did adorn.

They say that Mothers-to-be have a choice,
But what about the baby's silent, small voice.
God says I am fearfully and wonderfully made,
And that He planned for me to be born one day.

They say they're getting rid of a bothersome mass,
But they're actually killing a little lad or lass.
God says He wrote all my members in a book.
Made in secret, He saw how one day I would look.

They say all is forgotten after the abortion is done,
But ask any woman if she thinks about her daughter or son.
God says we'll all stand before Him some day;
So, make the right choice for two lives today.
