Thankful by Bryan Miles I've a tank-full to be thankful for Deep inside, To be frank-full I'm so thankful You're true, and you're tried! You give me the breath of life And with every passing day, I'm so thankful for the people You have brought my way; I'm thankful for the rain The sun and the snow, I'm thankful you are with me Wherever I go! You always walk beside me In the midst of every storm, You grant me a bed of peace And that peace, keeps me warm! There's a bank-full to be thankful for Where do I start? I'm thankful that Jesus, Lives in my heart; I'm thankful for Your Word I'm thankful for Your light, That brushes across my soul And leads me towards the right; I'm thankful for Thanksgiving When everyone gathers around, I'm thankful for family voices That wonderful, thankful sound! I'm thankful for the faces That sit around the table, I'm thankful for those who would be here! If only they were able I'm thankful for the turkey That cuts so tender with a knife, But most of all I'm thankful, For Your Son, He gave me life.... |
