Many People
by mike bullock

Many people think we're foolish
Believe we've lost the plot
Content to lead a life of faith
We're happy with our lot
While they mope around the place
Consumed by worldly woe
We've given up our day to Him
Who's with us high or low.

Maybe they are watching us
When things get really tough
Waiting for the great collapse
When we have had enough
Though we have our problems
He's there to give us aid
If only we remember Him
We needn't be afraid.

Go out boldly every day
And thank God He is there
To keep us upright on our walk
That means everywhere
Don't go boring peoples' ears
With biblical expressions
Be the one who He has made
And mirror His impression.
