Divine Patience: Lessons from the Ages

by Bose V © 2024

In summers' heat, where tempers flare,
Proverbs whispers, a guiding prayer.
For in the scorching sun's embrace,
A lesson learned, a steady pace.

Verse 32, a beacon bright,
In patience, find true might.
Amidst the blaze of summer's fire,
A gentle heart, it does inspire.

When anger rises like the noonday sun,
To be slow to wrath, victory won.
For in restraint, strength is found,
A tranquil soul, on solid ground.

So let the summer's heat remind,
Of virtues pure, in hearts enshrined.
For in the sweltering days we see,
The power of patience, set hearts free.
