Tommy the Toad

The days went by, and Tommy talked to the little green frog on just about every one of them, and soon the little green frog was quite a different fellow. He was proud, and rude, and he didn't listen to his mother or father any more. "Whatever is the matter with you?" said the little green frog's father sadly, "You've changed so much! I hardly feel as if you are a member of our family any more." "Well I'm not!" said the little green frog, and he left his home and swam away.
