Wording of this Handout:

When God created this world, He made everything in six stages. Each stage took one day to finish.

On day 3 God created the land and the seas, then, on the dry land He created all the trees and grasses.

This means that, when the 3rd day was ended, there were millions of plants ready to grow, and flower, and make pollen. . . but there were no insects to collect the pollen, or carry it from flower to flower.

On day 4 God created the sun, moon and stars, but they couldn't go from flower to flower collecting pollen.

Then, on day 5 God created sea creatures and birds.

Well, maybe the wind and some birds might help the flowers, but what we really need are insects.

Day 6 arrived, and God created the insects.

So the plants had to wait only 2 days before they could be pollinated.

God created the flowers for the insects - such as bees ? and He created the insects for the flowers.

The bees need the nectar in the flowers, and the flowers need the bees. God designed things for co-operation.

When we co-operate with God things go well too.
