Wording of this Handout:
Some ants work very hard to look after another kind of insect - the aphid. This is what they do:
The ants build huts or caves out of mud and little bits of leaves and tiny sticks so the aphid can shelter from bad weather,
The ants also guard the aphid from other insects,
The ants also collect the aphid's eggs and hide them safely under the ground for the winter,
The ants also bring the eggs back out again in Spring and put them back on the right plants,
The ants round up their aphid and carry them home for the night and carry them back in the morning.
In return for all this work, the ants collect a sugary food which comes out of the bodies of the aphid.
God has designed many animals to work together like this.
