Can you think of one thing you eat as food which does not come from plants?

OK let's try.

Bread comes from grain. Milk comes from a cow but the cow eats grass to make it. Sweets come from sugar which comes from sugar cane or sugar beet.
Jam comes from fruit and sugar.
Noodles come from eggs and flour which come from hens and grain. Eggs come from what a hen eats.. grain and grass and meat. Meat comes from animals which eat grass and leaves.
Cheese comes from milk too.
Hamburgers and chips come from grains, meat and potatoes, with maybe a gherkin and some lettuce or cabbage.
