Have you ever thought how wonderful and strange it is to live on a great big ball?
A great big ball made of earth and water and air.
A spinning ball.
A ball which always has one side in darkness and one side in light.

Have you ever been surprised at the sun?
The hot sun. The sun which never stops burning but never burns up?
The sun we cannot look at without a shield to our eyes.
The sun we know is there, but almost never look at.
The dangerous friendly sun.

Have you ever looked at food?
Food which comes from the land and the sea?
Food made of life, which dies so we can eat it, so we can live.
How wonderful and strange it all is.

How surprising, that we live a whole life and never really understand it.
