You know you're dong a good job when..
When I was at Christchurch Polytech, I was in a class of about 30 students. I went there to learn a little more about Graphics but of course I was also a keen Christian, so it wasn't long before everyone in the class knew it!
We used to have some great debates. I would sometimes drop a really interesting comment into the room (when the tutor wasn't there ) and then sit back to watch the class go to pieces trying to work out the answer! Or I would say something deliberately provocative and get my friend Tony going. Man he used to get steamed up! He'd quiver and fidget and his little mustache would wiggle... all great fun of course.
But one day I was talking to someone next to me and I said something which sounded like a swear word ( But wasn't ). Instantly every head in the class turned and looked at me. "What did you say?!" demanded someone, I repeated the word. "Oh, I thought you said..." and the class went back to work quite relieved. Funny!
But also very interesting, because they all knew that the standards for Christians are higher, and they all expected it of me. Is that how things are for you?
Please throw those leaves on to the rubbish heap.
But Mum.... we haven't got a rubber sheep!
