Stories of Jesus

One day Jesus was at Peter's house. Peter was very pleased to have Jesus with him.

"Would you like something to eat?" asked Peter, "Are you comfortable? Can I get anything for you?"

But Jesus was listening to something

"There is somebody sick in your bedroom?" said Jesus.

"Yes" said Peter, "It is my Wife's mother. She has a high fever. She is very sick."

"I would like to see her" said Jesus.

"its a bit risky" though Peter, "The fever is catch. I don't want Jesus to get it too!"

Jesus went into the room and kneeled down beside the sick woman. He gently placed his hand on hers and looked at her.

Instantly the fever went away!

"Get up" said Jesus, "You are not sick now."

The woman was amazed. One moment she had been lying on the bed, full of headaches and with a temperature - now she felt great!

She quickly got out of bed and started to make a meal for Jesus and Peter, smiling all the way.

There once was a war-painted Sioux,
Who one day had nothing to sioux,
So he climbed up a tree,
With his horse and tepee,
And he said "I like homes with a vieux!"
