Being Judgemental

When you point at someone, there are always three fingers pointing back at you. When someone gossips to you, you may wonder what this person says to others about you. There is a proverb which says "What goes around, comes around." The Bible says "You reap what you sow."

God has warned us many times, by direct command and by many examples, that life is full of justice. THe movies depict this in almost every story - the baddies are caught or killed, and the goodies win through. Right always triumphs over wrong. It it the universal theme in almost all stories.

The verse at the bottom of this 'Daily Nibble' came from the mouth of Jesus. what he meant was "Don't be needlessly critical of other Christians. Don't go looking for faults. Don't be picky."

Of course in all other matters, Christians are urged to be wise, and to make careful judgements about everything in life. It was just the personal things which Jesus wanted Christians to be wary of.

You have a freckle on your nose!

The Bible (Jesus) says "Do not judge, or you will be judged."
(Matthew 7:1 New International Version)
