Doing what's right.
Have you ever heard someone say "It's not fair!?" I think it is one of the most common sayings in the world. Children are always saying it, and you should hear the yells when a referee blows his whistle when no offense was committed!
People have within them a set of rules. They don't even realize it, but this set of rules guides and governs their every move all the way through life. Usually, you don't have to tell someone it is unfair to pick on a weaker person, or to be a bull, or to steal, or to overlook a crime, or to deliberately hurt or tease or annoy someone.
God wants Christians to always do what is right. This means leading rather conservative lives, being polite, showing consideration, helping, looking for solutions rather than arguments, and generally staying our of trouble. On the other hand there are times when doing the right thing may bring a Christian into direct conflict with other people, but so be it - its better to be right and suffer, then wrong and regret it.
Best worker we've ever had - she's honest, polite, dependable, careful and happy!
The Bible says "We are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of man."
(2 Corinthians 8:21)
