Revenge
One thing Christians are not allowed to do is take personal revenge. Yet revenge is so much a part of our nature that it is often very difficult not to hit back. The nasty word, the push or shove, the kick from behind, the betrayal, the gossip, the theft, the damage to our things, the lies spread against us...all these and many other things are done to us as we go through life at some time or other.
But God says we should not hit back, or say something cutting in reply, or attempt to hurt or damage other people or their property in spite of what they do to us. Christians are not allowed to take other Christians to court, and forgiveness is meant to be the rule, not the exception.
So what happens to those who hurt or damage us? God will deal with them.
I would really hate to be on the receiving end of God's justice! He is fair and exact. He never lets anyone off the hook - unless they repent. There is no escaping the Hand of God as he catches and judges people. Brrrr! It is really scary to think of what God does to wicked people. Either now, or later, not one of them will be missed.
So relax, and let God sort your enemies out!
The Bible says, "It is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation (trials, troubles) those who trouble you."
