Poems by Margaret Cagle

A poem about the second coming of Jesus.

Pumpkin Spice And Everything Nice
Just like a plain pumpkin is nothing without sugar and spice, our lives need the Savior, the right ingredient that enables us to be used in God's service.

A Pulpit Has A Purpose
Nehemiah 8: 3b, "And the ears of all the people were attentive unto the book of the law." Nehemiah 8: 4a, "And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose."

Seeking God's Strength
I Chronicles 16:11, "Seek the Lord and His strength, seek His face continually."

Eternal Investments
Matthew 6:20 says, "But lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal."

If You're Happy, Tell Your Face
Proverbs 15:13 says, "A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken."

When Jesus Comes, The Shadows Flee
John 8: 12, "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."
