Job 4 • You Reap What You Sow

Out With the Old, In With the New
Based on the scriptures found in The Purpose-Driven Life - Day 22. For this is the secret: Christ lives in you. Colossians 1:27 Everything ... connected with that old way of life has to go. It’s rotten through and through. Get rid of it! Ephesians 4:22

Fighting for Harmony second in poetry contest
Based on the scriptures found in The Purpose-Driven Life - Day 21. Let there be real harmony so there won’t be divisions in the church. I plead with you to be of one mind, united in thought and purpose. 1 Corinthians 1:10

Peacemaker
Based on the scriptures found in The Purpose-Driven Life - Day 20. God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God. Mt 5:9 What causes fights and quarrels among you? You do not have, because you do not ask God. Ja 4:1-2

A Nurse's Prayer
This seems appropriate for our world today as we find ourselves in the midst of a pandemic. Thank God for first responders! This was written in 1984 for my sister who had graduated from Nursing School. Technically, a newly-graduated nurse's prayer.

Blessings for Obedience
Leviticus 26:1-13 speaks of God's blessings IF Israel obeys. "If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you the seasonal rains. The land will then yield its crops, and the trees of the field will produce their fruit." v3-4
