OUR GOD IS OUR STRENGTH
This poem resulted from a time in my life when I was utterly cast on the Lord for His help. The Lord was my only hope and became my absolute strength. He won the victory for me - my Deliverer. It is also partly based on Psalm 81.

FAITHFULLY HE IS WATCHING
The ever abiding care of the Lord is the Christian's joy and comfort. The Lord is faithful even when we are in uncertain days. I have examined these aspects that can cause concern but Jesus Christ abides still and His presence is always near and close.

The shadow of His wings is spoken of in Ps. 91:4. The beam and mote herein is from Matt. 7:3. The altar's horns are spoken of in I Kings 1:50-53. The Gospels tell of Christ's crucifixion. Believers are referred to as Christ's Bride in Revelation.
