Trials & Challenges Poetry

The Indignity of Man in Old Age
This poem looks at the problems of old age, which Christians are not immune to , from a purely human viewpoint. It should be read in conjunction with my poem "The Christian in Old Age" published in November 2010.

Joyful Tears
The tears we shed are endless, and from our souls drawn. We water all our selfish wants -then later wish them gone.

Deep Inside
Are you being rocked?

Footprints Found
My mouth fell open, as to speak.Mere words were at a loss.I saw those faithful footprints aim directly to a cross.

Bring the Rain
A poem about knowing something is coming and me asking God to give me the strength to have faith to stand my ground and weather the storm

All Things
When God says all things, He means all things, even various trials that we may suffer. Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for the good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."

Give Me Your Yoke
Jesus is your burden bearer and wants you to give Him the chains that bind and keep you from Him.

Lord, Take My Hand
We all wander from time to time but we can rest assure He will bring us back . . . we just need to ask.

I Will Carry You
When we feel like giving up and we don't think we can go on any longer, remember this one thing - He WILL carry you!
