Poems About the World, Flesh & Satan

The Blessing Of Distance
At a youth camp, I heard an awesome message preached on how to overcome temptation. That was my inspiration for this poem.

A cry from the Wilderness
A cry from the wilderness exacerbated by the restrictions caused by the effects of the Covid pandemic

A Battle Cry
We are in a battle. We are in a race. God has given us His battle cry. Nothing else is needed

Beware, little lambs
The devil is always looking for someone to devour...

Unfurl Our Flag Again first in poetry contest
The problems in our country and world today are not of God and not by Christians, but rather by Satan and those who enable sin.

Satan's Working Overtime
This poem is based on John 10:10-11 – The thief does not come except that he may steal, and kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.

Too Busy
Sometimes we Christians are too busy with the cares of this world, and the Devil steals God's Word from our hearts. In a chess game the strategy, especially if it's been proven, is stuck to like other games' rules. I use chess merely as an analogy.

"Experiences In Life!"
Setting at the computer and looking back over the good and bad times in life.
