Spiritual Warfare Poetry

The Lord Most High
This poem was fashioned after Psalm 91 - it speaks to how the Lord shelters you, how He commissions His angels to guard you, and how they keep you from striking your foot against stones found on the ground . . .

Be careful of bitterness and all the garbage that comes with it. Stand against Satan and he will flee from you.

The Armor of God
There are unseen battles in our midst - spiritual battles This prayer speaks of the "Armor of God" that we should wear to protect ourselves from spiritual warfare.

Undaunted first in poetry contest
With strong themes of leadership and courage, this poem (an allegory) is meant to embolden the church to go forth, proclaiming the gospel, even as darkness rises against us.

A Call to Battle
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: II Cor. 9:8. I want to do and say things that are Spirit led, to walk in the Spirit. I know what the Lord has done.

The Battle Belongs to the Lord second in poetry contest
It is easy to forget that the daily battle against my flesh has been won in Jesus Christ. I must yield to His victory and walk in it by faith. What glory is revealed when we remember the battle is His and He reigns victorious once and for all.
