Poems About Virtue & Christ-likeness

There Is No Want For Love
I was inspired to pen these words after hearing a church sermon in which the message preached was about how love is the universal language to communicate across all cultures and races in spite of their differences. Love unites the people of God.

The root of the problem
So many things in life can cause us to become bitter. We often try to hide our bitterness but it's truly a sin we can't hide. The sooner we repent, the better.

Proud of His Find
The Bible tells husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it. I feel my husband loves me this way the more he learns about Jesus' love and grace.

I'm That Wife
Because of what Jesus did on the cross, all women can be virtuous as the Proverbs 31 wife.

Abiding with My Father
Jesus paid for my sins completely and I am living in His will, by His grace. There is no reason for people to speak ill of me.

Valued Full Price
Just as a wooden block is lacking value without the sharp carving of the knife, so is the Christian without God’s shaping. God is our Carpenter, and we are His masterpiece.

I was just trying to make friendly conversation.

Made Precious Silver
We need to be honest with the Lord about our giving., realizing that we have nothing except those gifts from Him. In and of ourselves, we have nothing to give. Jesus forgiveness makes us like silver without it's impurities..

Idle Hands first in poetry contest
We have a glorious rest awaiting us but until it arrives, we toil knowing the night is coming when no one can work.
