He Came - He Obeyed - He Died - He Lives!

God's beloved Son entered our earth
Through a humble event - a baby's birth.
Our promised Redeemer, Jesus by name,
Was born to save us, that's why He came.

His life was a lesson in obedient living,
As He poured out Himself in faithful giving.
His Father's commands and words He conveyed,
That we would know God, that's why He obeyed.

So why did He have to die on the cross?
There was no other way to save the lost.
He paid the price for our sins and our lies
And gave up His life, that's why He died.

Now He is seated at His Father's right hand
Waiting to receive every born-again man.
Because of His life that He chose to give,
We are redeemed and that's why He lives!
