Why I Am Happy

Lord, You make me happy,
in You, my life is complete
You bring my heart glee
whenever, I am downbeat.

Lord, You make me content,
in You, I find true rest
You bring me peace
whenever, I feel pressed.

Lord, You make me blissful,
in You, there is only hope
You bring up my spirits
whenever, I cannot cope.

Lord, You make me cheerful,
in You, there's joy all around
You cheer me up
whenever, I'm feeling down.

Lord, You make me joyful,
in You, there are only smiles
You bring my life gladness
no matter what be, my trials!
