Within His presence we are in our place,
We dwell beneath the shadow of His wings.
There's no replacement for our Savior's grace,
Our heart's desire our Savior to us brings.
I see love shining in my husband's eyes,
In his embrace and smile and words it shows.
My Savior's love in him I recognize,
The love that Jesus in our hearts bestows.
Christ suffered on the cross for beam and mote,
Enduring whipping, nails, a crown of thorns.
His beard was plucked, and lots cast for His coat.
Our refuge greater than the altar's horns,
Forsaken by His Father, God, was He,
And wed forever with Him we will be!
