Redemption

Filled with His Spirit, O what joy!
My tongue, His praise does now employ.
How the hallelujahs do roll,
offering of a grateful soul.
With glad heart I can declare it,
brand new me, filled with His Spirit.

Water baptized in His sweet name,
buried at last, my sin and shame.
Cast into the depths of the sea,
no more bound by iniquity.
Such great salvation to be prized,
forgiven, filled, water baptized!

"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." John 3:5

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38
