The Great Grace Rescue!

by Kimberley Allen © 2016

Why would You choose me? With longing to know.
Lord, I'm unworthy, still mercy You show.
Blessed assurance, walking in grace.
Lord, I deserve death but You took my place.
Washing right through me and making me whole
You captured, renewed me and rescued my soul.
This love it astounds me and leaves me in awe.
I can't comprehend it but there's not a flaw.
You've worked and accomplished this most perfect plan.
Yes Lord, You have conquered, what no-one else can.
So now I will trust You, on You, I'll rely.
Your Spirit, He'll guide me and I will comply.
My heart and my gaze Lord, to You, they will turn
While bowing in reverence, a servant to learn.
For truly I love You and every command,
So use me in seeing Your Kingdom expand.

Revelation 21:4

“And God shall wipe away all tears from
their eyes; and there shall be no more
death, neither sorrow, nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain:
for the former things are passed away.”

Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God:
for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth He any man:
But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own
lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin:
and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
James 1:13-15
