The Gospel Message

The most important, vital message
That the whole world needs to know
Is God' great salvation message
That He brought to us here below.

God promised to send a Messiah
To save the people from their sin.
He promised a sinless sacrifice
To bleed and die for the sins of men.

God sent His only Son from heaven.
Jesus came and was born on earth.
He was born in a stable in Bethlehem.
The Scriptures tell of His virgin birth.

Jesus performed His earthly ministry,
Teaching and doing miracles here below.
Then it came time for Christ Jesus to die.
To the cruel cross, He was willing to go.

Jesus Christ was the sinless Lamb of God.
On a cross at Calvary, he was crucified.
He shed His blood for you and for me.
For the sins of the whole world, he died.

They laid His precious body in a tomb,
Which they sealed with a stone that day.
Three days later when visitors came,
That huge stone had been rolled away.

Praise God! Our great Savior arose!
He had victory over death and the grave.
Later, He ascended back to heaven.
He is alive, and He is able to save!

One day Jesus is coming back again.
Believers will meet Him in the air.
If you accept Him as your Savior,
You'll go to Heaven. I'll meet you there!
