If I had not read Your Word
What could I possibly have seen?
I would be utterly lost in this world
And not become who I should have been
If it were not for Your Word
What could I even have learned?
I have neither shield nor sword
Nothing could I have earned
If I had not listened to Your Voice
What would I have now become?
I would have made the wrong choice
And be far away from Your Kingdom
