Share my World

by Pearl Leona Sturgis

Watching a star that glitters...
Looking so lonely up there.
Sometimes to win won't matter
when victory can't be shared.

Riches and fame hold no honor.
Diamonds and pearls play no part.
Silver and gold can not ever
Bind up a broken heart.

Give me your shoulder to cry on.
Give me your hand when I'm lost.
Give me your heart to rely on.
Tell me your dreams and thoughts.

Laugh with me when I'm happy.
Cry with me when I'm blue.
Take my hand and walk with me.
I want to share my world with you.
