True Prayers

To say our prayer is not to pray;
Unless we mean the words we say.
Unless we think to Whom we speak;
And with our heart His blessings seek.

Then let us when we come to pray;
Not only heed the words we say.
But let us seek with earnest care;
To have our thoughts go with my prayers.

If we have been righteous He will know;
And He will answer our prayers soon to show.
If our prayers are good and true;
He will answer and bless you too.
