Divine Guidance

Being Spirit filled and Spirit led
Describes a good Christian life.
That's the way to have inner peace,
Even amidst struggles and strife.
When we meet with opposition,
And some say, "Go with the flow,"
Let's take a stand for what's right,
And let our faith in Jesus show.

Peter met with much opposition
When he preached in Jesus' name.
He obeyed God rather than man.
Of Christ Jesus, he had no shame.
Paul preached Jesus in many towns.
He was Spirit filled and Spirit led.
He surely endured much persecution.
"I have fought a good fight," he said.

I want to seek the Lord's guidance
As I serve Him humbly everyday.
I must daily study God's holy Word,
And I must never cease to pray.
I want to be in God's perfect will
As I live everyday for my God.
I want my life to count for Him
As on this earth below I trod.
