The Joy Ride

Our life on earth is really brief -
Much of it is filled with grief;
We're going to get a great reward,
And live forever with our Lord!

Bad times could make us really sour,
But we can use God's mighty power;
With God we will surely win,
Knowing that makes me grin!

Although hard-pressed on every side,
Christian living is a joy-ride,
Satan may give us a squeeze,
That's when we go down on our knees!

The peace of God will guard our minds,
When we face trials of many kinds;
Let us rejoice in the Lord always,
And sing to Him a song of praise!
