September 11

A sudden crisis occurred in America
Tuesday, September 11, 2001
along with many casualties
immense destruction was done.

An attack on the USA with four
planes descending from the sky
it happened without warning
the enemy took all by surprise.

Many hurting, thousands dying
mass confusion everywhere
but our Nation pulled together
immediately went to God in prayer.

Fire fighters and fellow officers
strive to help as they would
many people willingly gave blood
provided comfort, the best they could.

We can overcome this sorrow
if we continue on in prayer
walk by faith, not by sight
on God, cast all our care.
