The Most Important Decision

by Margaret Cagle

The rich young ruler ran to Jesus,
And down on his knees, he fell,
Asking, "How can I have eternal life?"
Then he waited for Jesus to tell.

"You know all the commandments,"
Jesus then answered to him.
"The commandments," said the ruler,
"From my youth, I have kept them."

"Give all your possessions to the poor,"
Jesus then answered once more.
The rich young ruler walked sadly away,
For he had possessions galore.

After Paul witnessed to King Agrippa,
He heard the king sadly say,
"Almost I was persuaded to be a Christian."
He made the wrong decision that day.

We must make that important decision.
We must make it before we die.
Will you reject or accept the Savior?
The end of your life could be nigh.
