I Came To Draw Men

by Cheremiah
http://www.cheremiahbooks.com

I came as a baby I planned it that way
I came to draw men not to frighten them away

The wooden sides of the manger where my tiny hands lay
Were a glimpse of the cross and the price I would pay

I came as a baby for I wanted to say
I came to draw men not to frighten them away

Later in life on the shores of the sea
I walked with compassion my grace flowing free

I extended my hands "Fear not" I would say
I came to draw men not to frighten them away

Up to Golgotha the cross in my hands
The ultimate sacrifice fulfilling God's plan

For the hammer and nails I extended my hands
I purchased salvation for every man

You must believe me when you hear me say
To now enter heaven I AM The Only Way

Ask me to save you, I will do so today
I came to draw men not to frighten them away
