A Weird Perception

It may be a weird perception,
Or some stupid attitude I had.
The things that life has thrown at me,
May not really be that bad.

Life seems to throw me lemons,
And I see only the problem made.
Shortsightedness doesn’t quench a thirst.
Maybe I should make some lemonade.

The debate is about the liquid,
Full or empty, how much mass.
Should I not enjoy the drink of water,
And just be thankful for the glass.

I may not always be optimistic,
Yet I need not have this attitude.
A very worst case scenario,
Doesn’t have to be construed.

Life is much too short to worry,
About tomorrow’s possible mess.
A pessimistic view of life,
Will only ruin my happiness.

I shouldn’t worry about some problem,
That hasn’t even happened yet.
So I’ll get on with living out my life,
And be joyful for each day I get!

For “Today is a day that the Lord has made”.
It is not really of my own choice.
For God out of love made this day for me.
And I really should REJOICE!!!

This is the day which the Lord hath made:
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
