Gracious loving father

by Matt Gullett

Gracious loving father
We come to you alone
You grace the skies with glory
And hear our every moan.

Your glory is so high
We cannot ever reach
The pinnacles of faith
Your word does often teach.

We bow before your greatness
We jump with leaps of joy
Your steadfast love sustains us
Sent from your only boy.

More precious in the morning
Is your endearing embrace
Than the finest of the gem stones
Men could ever chase.

Held between the promises
You've made the human race
We wait with baited breath
To see your lovely face.

I Kings 20:4

"My Lord, O King, according to thy
saying, I am thine and all that I have."
